really enjoying the game so far.
A suggestion about the looting:
make the “orbs” in the color of the rarest item that is included in the loot. This way the excitement increases when e.g. a boss drops a legendary item (as it would show as gold on the floor) 
Oh yeah, visual queues help achieve QoL experiences.

This is a really nice idea, I like it :).
I suppose that means that normal loot would be turned to white? Or would we keep it as blue and then just go up to purple or gold as needed?
