Loot Design Issues Breaking Immersion in No Rest for the Wicked

In No Rest for the Wicked, enemy models are rich in detail, but three loot design issues break immersion.

First, when an enemy’s weapon has a chance to drop and actually spawns, the highlight appears on the corpse instead of the weapon itself, misaligning visual cues with loot logic.

Second, beach crabs and horseshoe crabs both drop “horseshoe crab” loot—this feels like an oversight, not an easter egg, clashing with the game’s careful world-building.

Third, when creatures on high platforms are pushed down and killed, their loot stays with the corpse below instead of returning to the platform, which is frustrating.

These flaws weaken the game’s cohesion.
