Loot & Assassination Tweaks: Make No Rest for the Wicked Feel Earned

Been playing since EA. Monster corpses sticking around is great—it makes fights feel real. But their weapons vanish in 10 seconds, like hitting delete. Total immersion killer. At first I thought, “Why not tie weapons to corpses?” but your game’s optimization is already rough. My PC has an Ultra 9 275HX and mobile RTX 5060—not top-tier, but common. Keeping weapon models would tank performance for more players. Fix: Ditch the 10-second weapon delete. Make weapons and corpses vanish together after a short time or on area refresh, and don’t delete them abruptly. Let them sink slowly into the ground first, like in free MMOs. No more “corpse here, weapon gone” weirdness, and the slow sink fixes the jarring pop-out. Easier on low-end PCs, less geometry, smoother for everyone. For loot: I get you didn’t make drop models for cloth/junk. Just use Diablo-style glowing orbs for that—simple, light, easy to spot. But weapons? They’re core. Even if they vanish with corpses, let their dropped models show. Your weapon art is solid; seeing the skeleton’s sword on the ground makes looting feel earned, not just a pop-up. No need for extra junk models, just weapons. Also, the double RNG for blue soul chests is annoying. Kill a monster → maybe get a chest → open it → maybe get gear? Too many hoops. Combat, maps, and voice acting are already good. These tweaks would make the game tighter, smoother, and more logical for more players. Hope you see this.
