Ayo, been really enjoying the game so far, but throughout my time playing, there have been a few minor things that I thought of that may make the game a little more enjoyable with some QoL recommendations.
-
Being able to turn experience gain on and off. In-between the play sessions with my 2 friends on the realm, I would like to go around and farm mats for the group. In doing so, I jumped ahead of them by several levels. I know its not a big issue, but I think it would be great to have the ability to say, go to the stats page, and be able to freely turn on and off EXP gain, and maybe display it over the exp bar when disabled.

Make the âItem Facetâ (Sturdy, Heavy, Indestructible, Dense, Stable, etc.) description box always appear on the opposite side of the mouse. Often, when navigating and inspecting my gear/weapons, (on both the inventory side and equipped side) the Item facet description box will be blocking or obscuring the items Iâm trying to look at/hover over. if you could force the box to appear on the opposite side of the item description box, it would prevent any obstructions.

Allow us to leave Key binds unbound if we would like to. I am currently playing on controller, and normally I use âLeft Stick Click Inâ for my âpush to talkâ in Discord, which happens to be crouch in this game, so every time i wanted to talk to friends i would crouch. I went into settings and tried to just swap crouch to âRight Stick Click Inâ and not use the âlock onâ feature, but the game refuses to allow you to leave the menu with unassigned keys. Now every time i speak it locks/unlocks on to enemies. little annoying but manageable.

Allow us to Mark gear and weapons as âTrashâ or âFavoriteâ as well as add a âsell all trashâ button at vendors. That way, when we go to sell, we can quickly get in and out and back to what were we doing. Marking an item as a âFavoriteâ would make the item unsellable, preventing any accidental sales of anything we might have been saving.

Add a âdescriptionâ key/button while hovering on a POI, in the Map. Sometimes its a little confusing, especially early on, to know who sells what, or what whispers are where on the map. For example the very first Whisper in the âThe Shallowsâ is known as âThe Saltborn Towerâ. In the whisper is says its name, but if someone wanted to look on the map, nowhere will they see the name âSaltborn Towerâ. So I recommend you add a key (like X on the controller) while hovering over the whisper marker or a shop on the map that brings up a name, and a short description of the location/store

Add a âsort by priceâ to your inventory filter. Sometimes while out in the field, when my inventory gets full, and I find a new piece of gear or weapon, I drop my lowest priced piece of gear/weapon. If we could filter by price that would make it a little easier.

Add the ability to make chests âsharedâ or ânot shared/personalâ. So far I havenât seen anything like this, so correct me if Iâm missing it. My friends and I are not too far into the game, and the shared chests are great and all, but it would be nice if I could set a chest to âpersonalâ and make it so that it other players or Vendors do not have access to âpullâ items from that chest.
Thanks everyone, would Love to hear peoples thoughts on these recommendations or even some ideas of your own that you may want implemented.
Keeps safe and keep moving forward Cerim.
