Lacquered Bow and Sirens Call Seem Overpowered With Jade Ring

Lacquered bow in general is very strong compared to the other bows. Would be nice if the other bows could perform closer to it. Its main drawback is in multiplayer, since with all the arrows it can be hard to avoid hitting teammates. With jade ring, if all 4 arrows hit and you have 100 max stamina, the attack cost is essentially free, making the stamina cost reduction from hunters mark irrelevant. With a nimble facet, you only need 3 arrows to hit (sirens call works with this as well). It seems like jade ring should work in this case per attack rather than per arrow. I feel like the stamina cost is supposed to be one of the drawbacks to bows, but one ring negates that almost entirely.

Also wanted to note I have the agility ring as well, but imagine other stamina cost reduction would work as well.

I would add Balak Taw to this list as well, now that I have switched to dex faith. Same reasoning - attacking is basically stamina neutral.

Probably fixed by making the jade ring refund apply once per attack sequence hit.

Either way, Jade Ring is way too important for stamina management to feel functional/reasonable in most builds, or it outright breaks them in the case of some bows as fast multiattack weapons.

I’d rather the horrible baseline stamina and stamina regen (which for some reason pauses while attacking or dodging, making stamina regen as a stat really bad compared to just investing in % total stamina) be fixed in this game.

No souls game has a stamina system as strangled and needlessly scarce as the one in Wicked.

Even with Khazan at starting levels you do not run out of stamina in 3 attack hits. It’s absurd that a stamina rune attack takes 1/2 a stamina wheel even with stamina point investment.

I’ve started using durable pants with stamina regen % of durability with a durability enchant. Feels like 50 regen is workable, with 70+ being ideal, and I get in those ranges with this one set up. I prefer lots of regen over max stamina so I don’t have to pause as long when I run out. If regen is too low, I can feel trapped at low stamina since dodging consumes stamina.
