This happened to me with the twins boss and today again (not the first time) with Echo Knight. I heavily suspect it has to do with the plague spots they cast on the field, they seem to mess with the fps a lot.
Kinda smooth until then but when they start casting those blue clusters it goes into a slide show. RTX 3090 on a very very solid laptop, if anybody’s wondering :>
