I think a far better solution would be to have a ‘compendium’ of runes. You find one, add it to the compendium and can apply it whenever you like!
Hi,
As the title suggests, it would be great to have an option to preview how a piece of gear will look on our character directly from the Scribe Table or Compendium menu one it has been obtained.
At the moment, the only workaround is to keep every gear piece with an appearance I like stored in chests, which is becoming difficult to manage and track over time. A preview feature would make cosmetic planning much more convenient and reduce inventory clutter.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
Hello, I would like to suggest to turn the tab “Element” from the Compendium into “Status Effects” to go in tandem with “Advanced Status Effects” I have seen a lot of confusion, about bleed not being physical damage as it is under “Element” compendium and tutorial.
I feel like there is vital information missing in game. There is a compendium, but it only covers basics rather than specifics. There is one specific detail I really need, and that is which runes are found on which weapons.
You can see the rune on a weapon when you physically have the weapon, either in your inventory or in a vendor’s inventory. You cannot see which rune is on a weapon you are about to craft, or a weapon you are learning the recipe for.
I have been trying to collect all of the runes that apply to my chosen weapon type(s), but I cannot recall what runes I got from where, and which ones I still need to collect. I could spend a mountain of in game resources to simply craft one of each weapon and store them in a house I don’t like, but wouldn’t it be so much better if you could look at a compendium of all the discovered weapons and actually see the runes they hold?
Maybe, if the compendium isn’t the right place for that information, we could just see the runes on a weapon in the crafting menu? I would still need to keep track of all the runes I have so far, of which there are many. However, knowing the runes on an item before spending all of my precious resources on them would be a godsend.
As it stands now, I have 3 or 4 of some runes because I forgot that the weapon I crafted had a rune I already collected, and I can’t find runes I know I liked because I can’t remember what weapon I got them from in the first place. The wiki is useless for this, since it only lists the runes or the weapons without confirming where each rune came from.
Alternatively, the rune system could be reworked in some way. Perhaps runes could be unlocked just like recipes, and adding a rune to a weapon would only cost crafting materials or currency once you’ve discovered the rune in question. Honestly, I’d be happy if the crafting menu sowed runes before I crafted the weapon.
It turns out, this link gives me all the information I need, and then some. I would still love to see this information in game, but the database works for my needs for now.
Leaving the links here in case someone else needs them.
I wanted to review the differences between the three different weight classes (Fast, Normal, Heavy), but could not find the tutorial info that had popped up about it under the Knowledge section of the Compendium. Perhaps I overlooked it, but it seems to just be missing!
Try turning on tutorials in the Settings if its off, after that take off all your gear or vice versa. the tutorial should trigger whenever you change into a different weight class?
(otherwise if it doesnt work, i believe you will have to hit the reset tutorials button in settings right under the Show Tutorial ON/OFF option)
I’m certain this has been mentioned before, but I think a list of all enchantments and their possible values and on which types of gear they can appear should be in the game’s compendium. And I’m not expecting this now since things like enchantments can be constantly changing during early access, but this seems pretty important for theory crafting builds upon the 1.0 release.
After reaching the end of the early access campaign, I find myself asking “How can I make my gear more powerful?” → “What enchantments are possible on each piece of gear?”, "Is there a better enchantment that I am missing or I don’t know about?”, “Am I wastefully re-rolling enchantments because I don’t know that there is nothing better than what I already have?” I think that all we have now is an outdated google spreadsheet that someone made last year. Having a consolidated list in-game feels very important on full 1.0 release for a game with this type of gear and crafting system.
Love the game so far and can’t wait for the full release.
Would be cool. For now: Full List of Enchantments - Google Drive
