I have some grievances with some of the itemization

I think having to juggle two “kiss curse” mechanics such as the Cursed items and Item Facets is a bit much and stats like Unrepairable should not exist if you cannot counter them. They removed indestructible from the game outside of a unique and replaced it with % chance to ignore durability loss this is not a counter it’s a temporary band aid until you can roll the stat off because anything less than 100% ignore durability loss will eventually result in the item being a dead item because you can’t repair it.

Theis leads me into my next issue, Fallen Embers. With the addition of many new Embers to the game these are now few and far between. Even with the Ember nerf to “new realm” farming, that is still the only way to reliably get them and it feels bad.

indestructible is a facet

Which just convolutes things even more. I’m never making the choice between 2 items that would be good for my build, it’s always which item hurts me less. You could argue they achieve the same result “choice” but they have very different psychological effects, I don’t get the usual dopamine from gear because the game trains you to check negatives first and it’s always a negative it’s just how bad is it.
