Looking on youtube, I didn’t see any upto date routes.. so if you’re interested, hopefully this thread will help you setup a good method for farming.
~ Route duration: 25 mins
~ Regions: Glades, Keep and Shallows
~ Exploring around 50 potential chest spawn locations
~ Expected Loot: 15-30x Fallen Embers (depending on frequency of large chest spawns)
*If you play the video below, put it at 2x speed as there is no commentary.
For reference, I also tried farming the Crucible, which nets around 3-8x every 10 mins.
All that said, if you have a faster way, feel free to drop a link or post the method to your madness farming Fallen Embers in the Breach.
==== Edit ====
Forgot to mention.. during the recording in the Glades, the zone reset. So you’ll see me ignore few “unopened” chests in locations we’ve already visited.
Also at the end of the video, I show off my storage structure.
*One house dedicated to Rune storage (200+ runes atm).
*One house dedicated to Gear and crafting/upgrade materials.
If you setup a house like mine for gear, I recommend a 4x4 structure.
4 Rows = Cloth, Leather, Mesh and Plate
4 Columns = Hat, Chest, Gloves and Pants.
I try to keep 2x purple (plagued) copies of each piece of gear.
*I might change this in the future (once they allow you to remove/swap out infusions).
Put another row for Rings if you want.
*Keep in mind there are 6x possible variants (elemental combinations). So you can store 5x different rings per chest.
Only use the Medium chest btw.
The large only gives an extra 10x spaces and but is twice the size. So you get more storage from using Medium chests.
I also touch on a good practice when ending a run.
- Repair gear
- Enchant all Whites
- Remove desired Runes from Blues
- Sell the remaining Blues
End game, purple gear (plagued) is pretty much all you’re gonna wear.
*Though you can setup more chests dedicated to all the legendary “trophies” you get. ;3
