How many realms do I need to play endgame?

Pestilence outbreak is extremely slow, cleansing an area seems to have some timer of 24 hours or something. Limited to trading Torns 5 of each which is just absurd, why does this limit even exist? I farm for my torn then let me trade it…Areas spawned with Torn Effigy seems to have less torns from monsters than normal outbreak. So now I need multiple realms just to play the endgame?

Suggestion:
Remove the trade limit.
Pestilence outbreak every 30 min or less, limit the number of outbreaks if you want.
Lower or remove the area cleansed cooldown.
While you are at it remove the purple fog, let the outbreak be only showing on the map :slight_smile:

I made 5 first, did all the crucial building projects. Tbh, for endgame you don’t need too many realms. You can use torn pieces, Crucible senechal and rotate zones from same realm. Realms are mainly for grinnich, finnley and gordon npcs

If the game forces you to open multiple worlds just to obtain the necessary items for your build, then something is wrong. Most players start a game and play, as is normal. The game itself doesn’t seem to encourage opening multiple worlds simultaneously to get the desired items, this is merely a strategy devised by the most dedicated and committed players. The mere fact that this is even a topic of discussion indicates there’s a loot design problem

You realize we have a fraction of the map available and the game is unfinished in EA right? Multiple realms are a solid solution for a game missing a significant portion of its content.

I don’t believe we have half of the overall map currently and breach doubled the available map just weeks ago.

I make a new realm for every new character and I have more materials to can I can even use.

BowUser what materials are u talking about? I have plenty of everything but I am constantly starved of Torns/Embers in this game. It’s just crazy if the solution to playing endgame is creating new realms instead of lowering the cooldown, even for EA…

But that’s just it, you’re not playing endgame - you’re farming an incomplete system. In EA… With a portion of the overall map playable.

Right? If we were playing the end game the game would be released already…

You could just as easily run crucible after clearing your zones, which is truly farmable content without a CD… And provides loot, and runes, etc, etc.

Maybe solution isn’t the right word, more of a bandaid for people continuing to grind beyond the current content.

But I fail to grasp why people overlook the repeatable content and view additional realms as a huge deal.

I don’t have to spend 70+ embers a pop trying different builds when I just have alts. I have several realms to clear when I get home from work for (current) end game mats. And gear isn’t so restrictive I need perfect rolls anyhow.

I don’t have a horse in the race, if they lower the CD, ok…

But I also don’t think it’s fair to belittle and incomplete system for not being rewarding when it’s incomplete. It’s not like pestilence spread is like running maps or something. There’s a lot more to do on the map and the map is full… Full of loot.

If you want to forgo the repeatable content without a cool down I think it’s a much more productive discussion to advocate for buffing the repeatable content. Why not advocate for those materials to be available in high level crucible as a guaranteed drop from one of the chest behind EK?

I have no disire to create trillion realms or alts, my hope is that game will evolve where you can have one charachter and build different builds and store those builds into an armory system.

Crucible and the Pestilence outbreak should be the repateable endgame content, if I am wrong the developers can surly correct me.

I leave feedback from my own perspective and how I play the game. You have a diffrent approch to it and that is fine as well.

You have to understand.

This is early access. You are only seeing a tiny part of the intended content.

You feel starved of content because there is no more campaign advancing you to another area.

If you look at the map Thomas put on Discord, there are like 5 more zones that we have not even visited.

Now imagine each zone having its bounty, story, and activities as well as pestilence.

The game is not meant to feel complete, because it is not complete.

I have made zero realms. i do my 3 daily pestilence, the bounties on said areas, and a run or two of the crucible.

A plague lv4 full clear of the pestilence without skipping with effigy is between 30-50 minutes depending on map size.

Add another 15-20 minutes for bounties and challenges. A 20-30 minute run of Crucible.

You are reaching between 3-4 hours of daily content, in an early access.

Most everyday people with families and responsibilities can barely afford more than 2-3 hours.

Imagine if you balanced the game daily list for people with no responsibility or time management, who want a game to fill their 5-8+ hours of gameplay a day.

People would burn out like they do with Korean games that have their humongous daily chores. There has to be a happy middle.

If you play on P4 you’ll have more materials than you’ll ever need after 2-3 days of playing.

I have 2 realms and that’s 10 zones you can clear per day. I don’t know how many hours you play a day but that’s more that 100 torn sinews a day if you manage to clear all 10.

All good, I’m here for it. Not trying to silence your pov with my own, just adding my perspective. We’re all here for the same reason, we love the game and have input we think is valuable based on our experience, nothing more.
