I like the new rugs for house chests, but it needs to be expanded.
Here is a image of my storage house. What you may notice that this “rug” update did absolutely zero to help identifying the individual chests, as the all have weapons and runes but they all share one rug image. Imgur: The magic of the Internet
There should be subcategories for weapons and armor types added, as those are the most important, most stored, and most searched for items in house chests.
Currently all weapon chests have “Bow and Sword” rug, instead it should be subcategorized by weapon type and each having separate rug image, as it feels weird and doesnt help with organization to have “Bow and Sword” rug for chest with 2h weapons or caster weapons.
For weapons please add subcategories: ALL (default one) + the individual weapon types (fists, swords, axes, bows, etc). In my opinion 1h and 2h variants should be separated, but I understand that would create probably way too many subcategories.
Same thing with Armor. Currently it only shows what seems to be plate currisar + helmet, which also doesnt help to distinguish between storage chests for rings, armor class (leather, plate, etc), or armor slot (gloves, helmets, etc)
For armor please add subcategories: ALL (default one), rings, and some sort of separation betwen the rest of armor items, either by type (plate, mesh, etc), or slot (gloves, helmet, etc), or both (plate gloves, mesh helmet, etc).
Also, one of the main categories of stored items, runes, is completely missing.
By adding home chest subcategories with new rug images, it would greatly help all of us who are using the housing to store a lot of items far whatever reason (just collecting, for different builds, or later for multiplayer as a storage for multiple people)
However, right now, the rugs make the multi floor houses even worse and practically unusable as they are not transparent, making it a mandatory TYPE NONE for me at this moment.
