Separate sections for gems and decorations should be added to inventory, rather than lumping them together. Keeping gems and runes is acceptable, but ideally, they should be stored separately. Having gems in your inventory alongside embers, chests and chairs looks odd, not to mention incredibly inconvenient. When moving furniture into the house, I never thought it would compete for space with gems and runes. My suggestion is to add separate sections for gems, furniture, and maybe runes.
