When perfectly harvesting resources, add a visual blinking effect on the tool and an audio cue that gradually builds up towards the perfect-timing moment.
I Agree there should be a visual tell.
At the moment you can only learn with trial and error and it’s not very intuitive.
Haha i harvest trees with attacks and runes but i would like to be able to mine ore with attacks and runes aswell ![]()
Digging actually feels like it has the audio feedback when doing the perfect timing but it can feel a bit off at times?
Would be better if the blinking effect isnt on the tool itself because of the view angle in the game sometimes makes it that we barely see the tool in action? Any other ideas?
From what I’ve seen, the timing changes based on factors like which side and from which angle you approach the resource. I think the reason is that even these types of actions are animation-based for some strange reason, so the damage is dealt when the resource’s hitbox and the tool’s hitbox come into contact, so the timing changes based on where you approach, and even the sounds can seem off if the obstacle’s hitbox is not poorly positioned.
