Hardcore suggestion

Would it be possible to add some kind of expensive consumable that negates death?

I’m sure some of you may not like this idea but I was just walking towards a ledge to climb down some vines and for some reason my character decided to fall to his demise instead of grab the vines :neutral_face:

If its made unable to hoard these items also, I don’t want to trivialise hardcore mode but just the deaths that feel unfair.

If anyone has a better idea of how to solve this issue feel free to chime in, I’m aware my solution could be difficult to balance.

Also, is there a way to put money into our stash for other characters to access?

Ring with the ability to decrease fall damage maybe instead of just a 1up mushroom. Cleaning up the accidental deaths by falling is a part of movement tuning too.
