General feedback on the game so far

Wrote the same review on Steam, but still think it is worth posting it here
Well, I’ve successfully completed the part available so far… I really enjoyed it all: fighting (oh, how I was raging from time to time… still gotta get good at it), style (I have a strong feeling, that a lot of the game’s style was affected by Dead Cells… some visuals and music really brought back those memories), amount of content… That was awesome. Had a couple of crashes though, but nothing extremely terrible. Works fine on SteamDeck, but you’ll need to adjust graphics.
The game is wonderful! I’ll be waiting for further updates and improvements. I enjoyed it a lot and I guess will enjoy some more.

Now, to a couple of observations, if someone from Devs sees it…

  1. I’ve spent too much time in the Crucible - which was awesome and helped me adapting to the enemies I was about to face sooner… BUT! I spent there TOO MUCH TIME, and in the end got the max. level long before even reaching the Pass section. It is worth considering removing the experience gain from the Crucible enemies, I guess
  2. As I already mentioned the Crucible… at some point I’ve upgraded all of my “blood upgrades”, and so far I still have about 8 pcs. unused… Probably it is worth considering some exchange of this blood for torn pieces or something like that.
  3. There were some interesting cases of slain enemies weird ragdoll behavior - mostly related with the “marsh dudes”. Mb some adjustment is needed.
  4. Can’t say I completely understood how the graphics adjustment works, but what I’d like to - is a possibility of turning the AI post processing completely off, I guess. AI image improvement is kinda okay, but I think the best is having it all in original quality. BTW, SteamDeck graphics preset would also be good.
  5. Maybe, it is work considering removing T2 and T3 tools from droplist, this would cause the players crafting them. I haven’t seen any need in crafting tools as I just looted them :3
  6. Some other balance adjustments could be considered for the gameplay and weapons.
For example, I had real trouble using Wind of Death, even though I’ve seen some videos of builds with a ton of damage. By itself it is unusable, maybe if it had some lifesteal of about 20% built in, so when wielding the blade you wouldn’t reduce your health down to 1hp, but maintain it at about 20-30%…
Also, maybe it would be cool adding an option of making an uncommon item plagued… I enchanted my Cerim robes and only one of them got Plagued, sothis set was successfully stocked in a chest.

And again, thanks a lot to the Moon Studios Team! You did an excellent work! You’re doing great!
