Feedback after 55 hours

Hey there forum,

Just wanted to provide feedback after just completing the crucible.

First of all I really enjoy the art style, world building and atmosphere. Its dark, isolated and the furture looms with bloodshed.

Stunning enviroments with amazing backdrops that do a lot by making the world feel alive, deep and connected. Looking into the distance to see places that a few hours later I was running and fighting around was truly amazing. The exploration has a very organic feel to it but finding hidden away secrets offered more sense of achievement then unique equipment.

When it comes to combat I do find the parry window to be difficult, thats why I focused more on dodging myself. Shield enemies, especially the knights, are real douchebags and fighting more then 1 at a time quite frustrating.

Bosses were fun, really enjoyed the sewer one and how that took a unexpected turn throwing me off while the fighting continued.

I would love to see some more ways to handle gear. Enchanting feels very random with no control over the outcome and it made some early drops so good that I never found a replacement (dual daggers with proc chance to regain full stamina is just too good).

The gear looks both silly and awesome and I would love to see a wardrobe function. Ofcourse leather looking items would still need to be leather equipped etc.

Although it makes sense that the shops on max level get their own houses I did prefer to have them close together without loading screens.

Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to the next content when it comes out

PS: the stray pets are awesome

Agreed, thats what EA is for, only thing i would say is the parry is fine as is, its very rewarding and its all about memorizing the enemies movesets, after you kill a lot of the same enemies you will get the hang of it.

As for the shield guys inside the crucible, or outside just bait for the rush, dodge to their backs and try to backstab the suckers, works wonders and you have invincibility while on the backstab animation so the other enemies cant touch you.

I think the enchanting is barely in the game, you can see its not fleshed out yet because the rune table in her shop has no recipes. So i think more is coming, but the ranged loot will stay, i would enjoy too a more handmade, like Baldurs Gate 1, where that ubber sword was always there, kind of loot, but this is more a diablo arpg style, and im fine with it, a lot of people prefer this way i guess.
