Game won't start in Steam/Error 51

Hello, dear developer, recently my friend gifted me your game. It installs just fine, but after i click PLAY in Steam the game just won’t open and i’ll have Error 51 from steam.

Already tried method with excluding it in antivirus programs, turning them off. Closed or deleted everything that has overlay, fully reinstalled GPU drivers, C++ libraries and DirectX. Cleaned all cache files. Always started it as admin, even with compatibility mode with win8/win7.

Reinstalled the game, four times on different discs.
Nothing helps.
Your previous version with no online works just fine, and current with steamless patch also launches. But as I check integrity files and it brings current exe file it just won’t show me anything but error.

Hi Rinnar, I will try to help you with this.

In the past this was due to anti-virus/firewall blockaces, could you try to add the whole NRFTW folder as an exclusion? If that doesn’t work, the whole steam folder please. That was the solution for at least 1 user.

Hello, the game folder was set as an exclusion but it’s installed on different disk. Should i still exclude Steam folder?

Oh in that case I would definitely try everything. I hope you have not installed the game on a hdd? If so, it will not play well, highly recommend to install it on an SSD as per the system requirements!

Still nothin, same error. Game folder and Steam folder are both in exception
