When starting the game from steam it will say launching for a second and then the game instantly closes it and doesn’t leave any errors but when I try to start the games through the .exe it says entry point not found

Yes every time I press play on steam the game doesn’t even make it to the moon studios logo steam will say on my profile that I’m playing it for a split second then stop and the game doesn’t show up in task manager and throws no errors or crashes

Oof, sorry man.
Can you right click on the game in your Steam library? → properties → Game Versions & Betas → select crucible_legacy.
Let that patch, and boot up again.

Switching to crucible_legacy did work and the game started normally
Alright, are you still in there? Otherwise, now it’s time to go back to the current build.
Reverse the steps and see if your game can now boot up normally!

I got the game working now I believe the error was on my part I had a mod installed the last time I played a few months ago and when uninstalling the game steam left it in the folder so when reinstalling it had the mod files still in it which might’ve been the problem so after uninstalling it and completed deleting the nrftw folder and reinstalling the game booted up and is working sorry for wasting your time
