Rescued Finley in 6 realms, it is 10:44 AM PST, computer location set to PST. Waking up between 8 AM and 12 PM on sleep-in days (saturdays) is sadistic and the npc is still not there!!!
Please consider not making him so rigidly time constrained, I love the sentiment but Saturdays are rest days, not wake up at 8 in the morning for a merchant that mostly doesn’t spawn days.
Is there something I’m missing here? I love the game but am very frustrated right now.
I think he’s on an UTC time zone. I can’t be sure but he does show up not just local time which must be a mistake regardless. If I’m correct he should show up in 1h and 40 mins from posting this. For me that will be 10AM local time.
Can confirm, Finley is present and so it’s UTC time that matters in Europe? Which means the in game information is wrong and it might be different depending on what time zone you’re in.
I checked all my 4 realms. He was present in 3 of 4. I don’t know why he wasn’t there in the 4th realm. So, I ran to the prison but he wasn’t there either. Then ran to the next whisper on the way to the Cerim gate and went back to sacrament and now he was in town. So, I don’t know why he wasn’t there in the first place in the 4th realm but maybe you need to make a prison run to unstuck some bug in case you have completed the quest but it wasn’t logged properly. etc etc etc

He’s there now! The game might be reading a different time zone for me.
Would be better to just make him show up randomly in the Open World as a traveling merchant. Changes places every week. Not a fan of this scheduled idea. Not to mention we already have the Daily/Weekly stuff so it’d be cool to find him while doing our Daily/Weeklies or when map Clearing. Please don’t add anymore FOMO mechanics lol.

on Saturday at 13.24 Moscow time (UTC +3 (GMT +3)) I had it, but from exactly how long and to how long, I can’t say.

but nonetheless i had the same issue too this saturday. he just did not spawn the whole day (well i wasn’t playing for 24 hours, but he wasn’t there in the morning and in the early evening until late at night he also wasn’t there)
Yeah, he is not where he should be… Haven’t encountered him once since breach update and I’ve been looking between 8 PM and midnight…
