It’s not just you – I don’t play female characters much for the same reasons.
(That said, I also like most animations and especially how they’re exaggerated; the stretchy limbs, the fists getting bigger. Really looking forward to the contortionist.)
I could be wrong, but it might be that some animations are made for the male skeleton and the female one just stretches to conform?
At least for the clipping issues a number of posts can be found. There usually was one already when I wanted to make one.
It’s generally on coats/skirts around the posterior for me, or on parts that hang down like pouches.
- Several armours have dangly bits that don’t rotate properly (book on Apprentice’s Coat [1], faulds/tassets on Scarlet Warplate [2])
- Stare of the Talon has mouth clipping [3]
- mentioned in older posts, so some could be fixed by now: Boarskin Leather Tunic, Knellap’s Puffery, Nith Leviathan Leggings [4, 5]
- the Wretched Archer Tunic has a padded skirt which is compressed horribly during the female running animation; has been this way since a clipping fix in Early Access Patch 1
A bunch have already been fixed, like most of the hair clipping or Druid’s Roots.
The ladder-climbing animation is janky at times too.
