Falstead's Barricade Strength to Faith

Patch changed Falstead’s Barricade Strength scaling to Faith.

Before this change you could at least cosplay Darak with a governors sword and the rest of the Falstead gear with the shield scaling with strength. Now you need a faith weapon and the few faith scaling swords don’t fit Darak’s look at all.

Ideally Falstead’s Barricade and Falstead’s fury should be the same scaling. Currently needing 42 faith and 26 strength to use them both uses up way to many stats points and leads to a weak character.

What’s the point of having the gear to look like Darak if you can’t build a decent character to use it?

Stats are getting revamped with the class system, but in the meantime they should convert all of his weapons to one stat, be it str or faith.

I kinda get why they swapped to faith, though. There are very few faith shields compared to other stats. I bet they wanted a faith stat great shield option.

He’s also a Dasha, so the theme of faith is not entirely out of order.

The only way to get one with that low of stat requirements is to find it while being a low level character. Finding “better” loot at low levels is an entirely different discussion of dumb decisions made with this game.
