Finally found a weapon I have been searching for so long (weapon RNG is so bad) - go to enchant and it’s BLUE…
Feels bad man..
Enchanting and getting a BLUE Rarity should NOT feel bad since obviously everyone wants a plague weapon.
Or at least give us a way to choose blue or purple enchant, or something but should NOT feel BAD
It feels like enchantments have a weight to roll based on what else is on the item? Haven’t seen this anywhere but I’ve ripped my embers trying and just get the same combinations over and over again when I have 2/3 or 3/4 of what I want on the item.
They should make it so you’re able to use Plague Ichor to upgrade items from Blue to Purple, makes sense that you would use a serum of the plague to add power and a curse to them.
Feels that way but the categories aren’t provided anywhere I can find.
Also I wouldn’t really call them categories. For example I was able to get damage after parry and health on parry on the same glove; however it seems impossible to get deal “X” damage on parry as well.
It feels intuitive to call those both in the party category and get, there they are on the same item.
Also we can roll multiple affixes that rely on durability which share a common description so if they aren’t paired in categories it should be something we have a clear list of. That and the current table provided is wrong.
Also shields getting multiple “on parry” affixes etc
I have magic items with affixes nowhere on the list and some of the top end rolls are off.
On my last character I played with white weapon and blue gear, couz they have better stats for me.
This is not mean that its bad idea. Main problem for me to get the base (white) item what you want. You have only one w8 to get it and its boring to grind. I think better make most of gear craftable will help with it.
Upgrading blue to purple for sure would be a bless. Or making Blues worth, like being able to have all of the same affixes than purple, limited to 3 and with less potency. But you are right, right now blue items are just trash you use while leveling because there is nothing else to use. And if you get a blue drop on end game that was the weapon you wanted it’s just trash and you either sell or extract its runes.
completely agree, it should not feel “bad” indeed
specially in this way: you feel lucky! then you go “upgrade”… aaand you feel unlucky!
is a major bummer and opposite to rewarding… it should at least “feel fair”
