Phase 2 AOE does too much damage and is pretty impossible to dodge. Full life you take 2 waves and you are out, this is just dumb as a mechanic.
You should improve the dodge window or reduce the damage done so you CAN’T be OS by this attack unless you are 25%hp.
Remember this attack hits the ENTIRE arena so you only have 1 option, and it seems that the dodge window is not clearly readable.
All improvements you made are nice, and it is motivating to see a team able to question oneself.
So please do something about the Echo Knight AOE. About 80hrs and still not get him once, coz of a free punishing gamedesign inconsistent with the rest of the game.
At least we should have 2 options to manage this attack, but right now this is just bad and frustrating for free = game killer.
The second option is to run up to the boss at the moment before the stage is activated and inflict an interrupting runic attack on him, which will interrupt the activation of his skill, or with a simple attack, interrupt his activation, but for this you will need good damage or a pumped up two-handed weapon. The damage is high, but it is just as possible to dodge. You can also survive the moment of activation with the help of food if problems arise with health and damage. If you use the rapier that falls from the boss, then it has a runic attack that knocks over any large monster, it also has good health stealing and the survivability with it is simply excellent, the only thing is that the damage is not very large. You can try using it together with a torch to restore concentration if you have difficulties killing the knight.
I have 75 hours of play and I have never passed the Echo Knight, yes, I have one place on fire, but it makes me go back into the game and try to kill this mighty guy
I also got burned at the beginning of the game. But over time, when you understand the basic mechanics of the game, it becomes much easier. Try to make a character with an emphasis on survivability using enchantments to restore health when taking damage; this is what I did at the beginning of the game on my first character.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqx219mTDPs&t=196s
To be fair he was worse, not because he was harder but because the crucible was made in a way that it took a long time to get to him, so it was harder to memorize his moveset.
With this new crucible, after some exalted itens and getting to level 30 if you get the right buffs he becomes easier, but is still a pain in the as-s for anyone without a uber rune spamming build.
