1440P on Best Quality
Dips into the 40’s during some combat, Average FPS is around 80

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
GPU: RTX 4080 16GB vram
RAM: 64 GB
DISK: NVME

Averaging 50 - 60 fps, dropping to 20s in some areas.
Graphics options make little to no difference. Dropping resolution from 1440p to 1080p makes ZERO difference. Render scale 50% or 200% makes ZERO difference.

I have :
windows 11
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5600
GPU : Nvidia RTX 4060 8Gb
RAM : 16Gb 3200mhz
Monitor : 1080P
1TB SSD

My fps tends to jump between 40-60fps at 1080 on best quality.
An issue I’ve noticed is that decreasing the resolution does nothing to improve performance, it stays exactly the same.
I tested this by overlooking Sacrament and changing the resolution from 1080p to the lowest it can possibly go.

Yup. I believe this is the first game I’ve encountered where resolution has no impact on fps. Is it a entirely bottlenecked by the CPU?

In avg i have 60-110 fps. Most of the time it is around 80 , especially during the night sessions its getting closer to the lower end.

cutscenes can go even below 50 fps…

Main concern is VRAM usage, for me it is 15 GB, what goes up as the play time elapses… normal ram usage is also around 17 gigs.

GPU usage fluctuating between 50 - 100% , should be more stable imho.
CPU usage around 40-50 %

No improvement since the last patch. In fact, it might be a bit worse. It’s hard to tell one poor performance from the other, if we’re being fair.

To be honest, I have a strong feeling that these issues are entirely due to the Engine you guys are using for the game. I’ve seen many games with similar issues. All of them that ultimately had an issue with the Engine being able to perform had the same symptom; poor fps regardless of settings.

Sifting through comments, I can see that most people are reporting the same thing. That is, regardless of how they fiddle with the settings performance does not increase.

Again, I personally point the finger at the Engine.

Since last patch 0 improvements, just worst.

I have the same procesors but a slightly better graphics card. Im on 6800xt and I get around the same fps. I think its a cpu bottleneck. They need to optimize the cpu usage

Its bottlenecked by cpu. I tried lowering resolution. Also the scale to the lowest nad no change

Been playing on steam deck OLED and want to reiterate a few differences versus main PC play.

For some reason streaming from PC performs much worse than usual, but I have some more troubleshooting to do on that. Worse connectivity, way more lag than usual when docked. Curious if others see the same.

Most annoying part on steam deck is how unfunctional the up button is on d-pad. My normal controller its a little finnicky, but on the steam deck the game just does not recognize the up press most of the time. Think recent patches have improved that a bit, still noticeable though.

Regular crashes, almost always proceeded by a struggling framerate. Sometimes directly caused by particle effects (did a fire throw through 4 leeches right after the infested guy exploded and it just hard froze the system). Turning off “dynamic resolution scaling” helped quite a bit, but still had some unexpected crashes.

Cant get stable fps no matter the settings resolution or scaling. Jumping from 60-40 most of the time. While transitioning zones it drops to 20.

Game is clearly cpu bottlenecked. It needs some serious optimization on that front. I can get higher frames in cyberpunk on max settings with rt on.

progresive down of the performance on game progress and city upgrades, out of the city its stable but when i teleport to sacra it runs pretty bad the first minutes

Game to me is straight up unplayable.
I have capped FPS to 60, selected the performance preset and lowered rendering distances.
Despite that the game crashes after 5 minutes or so every time I launch it.
When it is actually running sound is twitching and I experience massive frame drops from time to time, but that is not constant and happens more often when changing areas or when encountering enemies.
I should also note that most of these problems are reported after defeating the first boss.

One more piece of evidence is that when started, the wicked process (in task manager) is marked as Unresponsive, although It may still be actually running.
Maybe there’s one thread constantly crashing and that leads to the game falling apart shortly after (but I’m just guessing here).

Don’t know if that’s normal, however it takes up to 10 Gbs of RAM just standing still.
I updated GPU driver to latest and tweaked around with MSI afterburner, still no effect.
Also ran the game in compatibility mode and also run as admin.

updated from 8 to 32GB - difference like heaven and hell.

Didn’t reduce loading time but overall performance is incredibly better. Could even tweak on the grafix <3

CPU: 7800x3d
GPU: 4070 ti Super

Updated graphics card drivers, chipset drivers, and bios updated.

Before hotfix 4, @ 3440x1440 best quality mode, 45fps during intro, 50 - 65fps everywhere else. @4K resolution, quality mode, 40 - 55fps everywhere.

After hotfix 4 (and now 6), @ 3440x1440 75 - 85fps, but stays around 80 - 85 90% of the time on best quality mode. @ 4K resolution, 60 - 70fps on quality mode.

Surprisingly, 3440x1440 looks a little better for some reason, could be because it’s on my QD-OLED instead of my WOLED and HDR looks amazing on the QD.

Either way, very impressed with the progress. Looking forward to seeing DLSS implemented so I can try out DLDSR 2.25x and get good frames.

IMPORTANT: AFMF (AMD Fluid Motion Frames) and Radeon Anti-Lag turned on :slightly_smiling_face: that makes huge improvement in quality and performance especially because CPU is bottleneck. Before I was getting ~45fps and lagging with in-game graphics setting set to performance, now I’m getting up to 80fps with in-game best quality setting and it is really great looking and fluid now. Main menu gets to 140fps and not looking great as in game, but I think main menu is not optimized, it ramps up GPU to almost 100%.
