Tell me you dont know what u r talking without telling me you dont know what you r talking about. What fantasy does my 42 faith locked evasion strike curved sword achieves? What kind of roleplay does a 42 faith curved sword with evasion strike achieves that is so different from a 10 dexterity starting sword? How are they any different in way they make ur character feel as a faith class over over dex class? and if they dont, whats the point of having a different stat to eat up ur points if ur fantasy with those 2 weapons that require a different stat alltogether is different? Game is great, weapon system is unpolished and very flawed, if you cannot see that, well, u probably do not have as much experience as me in on this topic.

Well that sounds to u like that because u probably do not have enough experience to know what they r talking about, which again comes from lack of experience is system rpgs and soulslike rpgs. I can garantee most of them want a soft class system where u predeterminate ur character a bit in a way that he gets same starting gear, depending on class he choose, and gets to have few more points into certain stat than on default, and few less points in some other stat, baiscally allowing u to redistribute undistributable points with current character.
I just want to be able to build my character in a way where game wont punish me for not knowing item pool it has and where I can expect to be able to use items I wanna play with instead of finding them randomly locked behind the most random attribute because theres no principle on how stat req works at all.
DO you know how to read? How do I play my evasion strike curved sword? I thought I would need dex for it, but it requires 42 faith. most of the weapons do not have intuitive stat requirements and they are so bad multiple people made multiple posts on forum to do smth about them.
I cannot, my weapon is locked behind faith and while its rune attack is evasion strike.
