Suggestion: enter the Crucible with a specific set of food/consumables that don’t effect your main world (whether it’s a set list or you can choose from “classes”)
User experience - I will start by saying I had fun, but I played crucible for 2 - 3 hours straight and basically nothing to show for it (no level ups, only a few mid-point chests, just getting destroyed & learning some rooms along the way)
I understand the increased exposure to enemies per minute makes XP something that needs to be nerfed, but I DID use my main game items I farmed to go in, so this seems like a mode I shouldn’t be going to until I’m done with the game?
Half the allure is running for a cool weapon and bring it back to the main quest, but i only feel punished for “trying early”, so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with the cool weapon if I already completed the story?
With prepared items, I think it’ll help meet player enjoyment with developer vision since I’d go in knowing that:
- the challenge is tailored to the tools you provide (with echoes that can refill or give you cool new toys)
- I’m not losing anything but time when I go in
- cool loot for a victory or a lil XP plus knowledge for failure seems like a fair trade
