The combat pre-Breach and pre-Hotfixes really used to remind me of fighting games and to an extent, it did have the essentials.
In this regards, I think if they added counter hit properties to certain weapons (NOT ALL WEAPONS), the combat would enjoy a new level of depth and interactivity for those who enjoy this sort of thing in their gameplay.
To be clear this should not replace parrying. For those who don’t know, counter hit is when your weapon can intercept your enemies weapon. Say you swing your katana at the same as the enemies sword, your katana breaks their swing. It’s attacking at the same time and breaking enemy swings IF your weapon counters the enemies weapon.
