Certain character could not be loaded

Hi,

I have some character that when selected and tried to join any realm could not be loaded. It kept showing Attempting to Connect and Lost Connection page and lush back to main page. Can anyone help with this?

Additionally, I have tried to join other realm as well but it still wouldn’t load

I really need some help as I love the game but this issue is making me frustrated as i need to grind again.

Is steam cloud sync on?

Right click the game on steam go to properties and check if cloud sync is on(if its off turn it on)

Just check the above :backhand_index_pointing_up:before trying the below :backhand_index_pointing_down:

If it doesn’t work with it on then turn it off, then enter the realm and then exit the game and turn on your cloud sync.

Remember to verify your game files in steam.

Can you join a local Realm with this character?

Can you join other online Realms with a new character?

Have done all and the issue still persist.

Nope. I cant join any realm with the character. I have 3 characters that are having this issue. My setup is that for these character I created separate realm for each of them. But they all cant access their respective realm. When I created new character and tried to access their realm, it loaded just fine.

Hm weird.

Are all of those Realms local or shared (online)?

Can you try the following:

  • go in offline mode inside Steam, boot up the game and try to load your Realm

I have disconnect from internet and tried to play the characters but the issue still persists.

My newly created character suddenly couldnt be loaded after I have played over 20 hours. This issue is getting frustrating as I need to recreate characters.

Thanks so much for the files Dean, I completey understand this is very frustrating, you have found a bug that has not been recorded yet so I hope we can get this resolved quickly!
