Hi,
I have some character that when selected and tried to join any realm could not be loaded. It kept showing Attempting to Connect and Lost Connection page and lush back to main page. Can anyone help with this?
Additionally, I have tried to join other realm as well but it still wouldn’t load
I really need some help as I love the game but this issue is making me frustrated as i need to grind again.
Is steam cloud sync on?
Right click the game on steam go to properties and check if cloud sync is on(if its off turn it on)
Just check the above 
before trying the below 
If it doesn’t work with it on then turn it off, then enter the realm and then exit the game and turn on your cloud sync.
Remember to verify your game files in steam.

Can you join a local Realm with this character?
Can you join other online Realms with a new character?

Have done all and the issue still persist.
Nope. I cant join any realm with the character. I have 3 characters that are having this issue. My setup is that for these character I created separate realm for each of them. But they all cant access their respective realm. When I created new character and tried to access their realm, it loaded just fine.
Hm weird.
Are all of those Realms local or shared (online)?

My newly created character suddenly couldnt be loaded after I have played over 20 hours. This issue is getting frustrating as I need to recreate characters.

Thanks so much for the files Dean, I completey understand this is very frustrating, you have found a bug that has not been recorded yet so I hope we can get this resolved quickly!

Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m stuck on the game loading screen and can’t get in.
Strangely, I can enter my realm just fine with a newly created character, but my original character never loads through — it’s permanently stuck on this very screen.

I think it’s best to wait for the developers to help solve this and just create a new character in the meantime.
But… if you’re crazy enough, you could try loading your character save file into some kind of save editor and see if you can find a broken state, item, or something else causing the issue. I’m not sure whether that would be allowed under the TOS, though.
Also keep in mind that third-party tools can contain malicious code, so use them at your own risk. Before modifying any save files, make sure to create a backup in case something goes even more wrong.
