Can we use secondary weapons such as bows/shields as primary weapons in the future?

I noticed that we seem unable to equip some secondary weapons on the main weapon or dual wield single handed weapons, which seems different from FS games.

I hope there will be a main weapon similar to the bow blade in “Bloodborne”, which can be used for melee combat and shooting. It is so cool. And this mechanic is perfect for “Wicked” since the focus value is similar to a mercury bullet

Bow blade is a genius design, and I am looking forward to seeing similar ideas here.
