Since the world is curved the red dot that shows what you have targeted isn’t always projected into screen space correctly. This is very noticable if you have enemies further away. I can’t tell whether they are targeted because the dot is above or outside the screen. Can also happen if enemies are above the player. There’s at least 4 targetable enemies in the screenshot below. I know there’s at least 4 because the target dot will disappear for at least one of them and I’m guessing it’s the one above. The camera is doing something to compensate but it’s not enough. I rather it not target the enemy on the top most ledge/bridge because it’s just confusing.
Camera zoom It be nice if the camera could zoom out a bit when I have a enemy targeted. Right now, specifically with enemies that have incredible range it can be difficult for me to stay at a safe distance and at the same time see them on screen. When I can’t see the enemy I have no way of telling what shenanigans they are up to.
Difficult to illustrate but these big club wielding tree like creatures (River Twin like mobs) have this big sweep that can happen offscreen and still hit you. I have a 16:9 monitor, so nothing crazy there.
