BUG: Bounties menu won't go away

Hello,

I’m currently on the latest release. The main menu displays 22555 on the top right corner.

When accessing the Bounties + Challenges via NPC it will on occasion stick and not go away. The last time it happened I accessed Bounties, inspected rewards + hit X button to claim rewards (PS5 controller), then hit R1 to view challenges. At this point when I return to Bounties (L1) the challenges menu appears superimposed over it. (pic below)

This has happened twice. Both times I haven’t been able to get the Bounties screen to go away after it happens without forcing the game to close. I can hit “settings button” and see the settings menu open behind bounties, but the cursor remains focused on Bounties so there’s no way to exit, etc.

That literally just happened to me too. Had to just force exit out of Steam

Happening to me too, even after hotfix 3. Didn’t start till maybe hotfix 2.

Using a controller. I’m able to make it happen more reliably by viewing the reward details it seems, but it also has happened randomly when I don’t view them either.

I have to exit the whole dang game when it happens, hope they see this!

had the same issue. Playing with xbox controller.

Temporarily solution which worked for me: Select “Abandon bounty/challenge”. When you have some active. Afterwards closing is again possible.

What helps me: switching quickly between challenges and bounties and suddenly pressing exit button - needs a few tries but works.

I am getting this bug as well. It happens when I try to “preview rewards” on the items for bounties etc.

First time it happened to me. After switching to challenges window:
(I am using Steam, pressing F12 for screenshot forces switch from controller to mouse&kb, I am using controller)

I tried to exit challenges and move back to NPC dialogue menu:

When I opened sub menu for inventory/character/quests… to exit, it activated bounty window again and allowed me to move between bounties, but I was unable to use the sub menu for exit. Pressing ‘B’ on controller would deactivate bounties window and close the sub menu. Had to Alt-F4 to exit the game:

I got it…though I hadn’t started getting this error until after I started using controller input (X-box) to check the kind of bounties/stats of some of the bounty icons.
