Please can there be a pop up warning before you can abandon a bounty or challenge. There was a 2 second delay when I was pressing to accept a challenge so I pressed the button again and I ended up abandoning it immediately after the system caught up and accepted it. Frustrating as I can’t get those challenges back (unless I’m being blind) so now they are lost. Even better if abandoned things actually didn’t disappear from the list but were just reset so you can apply for them again.

This is such a common thing to have, almost anything today has a prompt “are you sure you want to abandon”
Just lost 3 challenges and resources the same way. Im using a nintendo controller, but the game shows XBOX obviously, and i dont know controller often so I just threw away the progress. I wouldnt mind if we could get the quests back…

I also lost a challenge because instead of Y (Submit Items) I pressed A (Abandon).

lost several for this reason already. confirmation box please, or make “abandon” a different button than the same button for everything else, IMO. or even better, do both of those things

Happened to me and I lost the hunt in the war room cuz of it. They should all be toggled without losing them until they’re complete or expired.

+1 both for the confirmation (“Are you sure you want to abandon this bounty?”) and for having abandoned bounties avialable again for re-pick-up.

Same kinda bug here. I abandoned 1 of the challenges and it just abandoned all of them at the same time. Very annoying.
I would suggest just keeping the challenges available to re-accept or abandon as many times as we want. I don’t see the point to them not being re-activable

The same just happened to me, except I pressed it like 3 times wondering what’s wrong, the next second all my challenges were abandoned and that honestly made me just Alt+F4 and play again some other day.
It’s not because I lost progress or items, but just my loss of words as to why turning in and abandoning these challenges/bounties are mapped on the same button with zero warnings.
I really hope this is something they can fix.

Can’t upvote this enough. Wanted to contribute one Falling ember, wrongly pressed X (A) on controller. Gave up free money and rewards just like that…

They could add Confirmation alert, or change the abandon button not be the same as the accept button, like Y or X with hold few seconds. for confirmation.

Abandoning a challenge shouldn’t remove it permanently till next day reset.

Agree with this! I lost progress on my daily bounty by clicking the wrong button.

IDEK, I just think removing the ability to permanently leave a mission would suffice.
Make it simple to either Switch Missions or Turn In/Finish Mission without deleting it. My two cents. x:
