Bow: arrow not hitting

Yesterday I was playing with my friend in a realm, and all of the sudden my arrows does not seem to hit anymore. Arrows going through enemies, arrows going above enemies and only seem to hit if I project the trajectory of the arrow where it lands or if it hits a surface what is closely to the enemy (wall or w.e.).

It is practically unplayable.

Swapping the bow, for another bow does not work as well. The bug persists.

Ranged attacks have a “range”. Are you sure to be within it? You can confirm that by seeing the soft-targetlock on the enemy (a white ball of light), do you see it?

Ranged attacks have an “height”. Are you sure the attacks CAN REACH the target? Sometimes you need to be a bit closer, and not too much high compared to the target.

Hi Bryan,

Yes, I was well close to the enemy.

But most fortunately, it has been solved! Thanks for thinking with me!

You where close enough to hit the enemy correctly?

How did you solve this?

Silas

Yes, I was basically in their face.

I have found out, which is probably a bug as well, that my settings are ever changing without me changing any settings. The auto-target was off, which was odd (which shouldn’t be a deal if my arrows did not fly through and over enemies).

Today I have noticed my sprint and dodge settings were changed. Before it was a mixture of combined movement and mouse movement and all of the sudden it was on combined + rune selection.

I had to change it all manually, but it is very weird that it is changing without me changing anything.

So I guess there are multiple bugs happening.

The last hotfix (3) caused those settings to be changed.

Silas

That explains a lot.

Thanks!
