I’m curious, because i think it’s useless. I optimize my build weight before going into the crucible, because it takes time to get used to weight class rolls, so i don’t think anyone is actually using those echoes in a run. maybe for cheesing the crucible mid run with spare heavy armor, but i think it’s weird…
I don’t. Because I actually want Normal weight class because of how I can change direction when rolling. So like you mentioned, I balance my gear around achieving that weight.
Using the weight reduction, it puts be into Fast weight class, and it’s not a benefit. It’s a negative.
If it was more like Elden Ring where all the animations are general the same mechanic, but the difference is distance, then that would be more useful.
nah im using it quite often.
in the overworld, im always heavy build because i want less attribute points spent in equip load to use in other things.
this echo allows me to go normal/light easily. the transition between weight classes isn’t that jarring, only takes a couple seconds to adjust.
it might not be worth the health reduction though.
i wouldn’t take THAT echo either, but good to know that there are maniacs out there doing happy fat rolls
I avoid FAST Dodge with all my heart. Normal feels really great and Heavy Rolls are fine too just not fast enough to dodge Boss Attacks sometimes. Fast is clunky, weird and almost feels like it puts you into worse situations due to the odd animation of moving forward, back, then forward again before idling out to allow another dodge. FAST is not fun other than to run the Overworld to clear the map faster as threats aren’t as tough outside of the Crucible.
Stinks when you get this as a random echo and didn’t realize it. Go to dodge and your whole flow is messed up lol.
Would like to see FAST Dodge get a rework to not only be fast but further and fluid. Non of this stopping after each dodge. Seems weird to me.
This buff is too much for me. Normally I wear around 90% weight, so the other buff Weight Decreased by 40% is enough.
Nah I love it, I have a few heavy builds with 950 armor that I haven’t been able to run… until now that is hehehehehe
Depends on the character I play. 1 of them uses the Fetid Club, this affix reduces my damage dealt xD. Otherwise I will take it if theres nothing better and its my last pick. I actually might start enjoying light “Roll” after having to use it with this Echo.
