Right now, the poor guy you save from the lsd cave has almost no use in the game. potions are way too expensive in an ore ingot sense, to craft a ton of them. also, potions pull from many other much need resources like upgrading weapons and the town. Lastly, potions ingredients are a nuisance for storage because they accumulate by the thousands w a 4-5x drop rate to other items, for breakables and shovel spots.
Therefore, I suggest we create an alchemy bag and an alchemy class: you would not be able to potion infuse weapons or throw potions without this bag equipped in an offhand slot. this would power creep potions, while allowing for the cost of crafting in ingots to be eliminated.
As it stands in the current system, potion ingredients are simple copper fodder for me, as runes infusions costs no ingots, and the drop rate on already completed potions is slightly too high. i suggest this new class w an offhand alchemy bag slot as well, so we can clear our inventory of all those roots and vines that come in the overworld drops.
