Alchemy recipes feedback

Any vials that require fish are nonstarters as fish are a significantly limited resource relative to vegetables and meats.

Since fish are critical to craft higher health+ focus food recipes, there’s just no world in which I will use the fish instead for a focus vial or stamina vial that somewhat increase my gain for a little time, when a food that heals 60-70% of my health bar plus gives me 1/3-1/2 of my focus bar can completely turn the tide of a battle.

Then there’s the elemental flasks. Grenades themselves are severely undertuned. 90-135 damage is just pitiful for current mob HP at lv30, it barely scratches more than 1/7 a regular mob’s health bar. For a single use consumable.

To top it off, the elemental flasks consume GEMS. You know, the super, incredibly scarce gems. No way I will ever use up my gems for a 90 damage lightning or cold flask. I’m at 59 hours played and barely have 2-3 of a couple of gems and exactly one of a few others and none of the health%/max focus/lifesteal ones.

Agreed, i wanted to post on that so i’ll put it here. I really love the fantasy of the alchemist, and i played one back then when World of Warcraft was still great, and i didn’t mind collect resources for hours in order to craft my favorite potions that made the difference in battles.

I didn’t yet meet this level of excitement in Wicked. Most potions, even from low level, are extreamly hard to produce in quantity (or even having to sacrifice precious gems…). It’s just more easy to buy the final product or collect it when looting, so i don’t find this mechanic great as it stands now.

One good point though is that going to “alchemy resources scavenging” can easily be fun, as there are many spaces where we can collect resources in quantity without having to go through lots of fights.
