Aiming is off after the update

Targeting seems off after the update. I’m using gauntlet and i usually start with a running attack, which is a kick.

After the update, my kick is always missing. I have to manually aim to try to hit the enemy.

Even my normal attack will miss sometimes unless I manually move the controller at the direction of the enemy.

Im having this same issue with the front flip kick. Also any direct attacks with something like festering earth where its a jab or overhead swing. Doesn’t seem to be an issue with horizontal swinging weapons as much.

Never had a problem targeting enemies before even when i was surrounded, it felt intuitive, now it doesn’t.

I feel the same.
I don’t use the kicks or fist playstyle for now, I like mage builds and for example my frost stream is all over the place. Before, with target lock turned on, it just hit the nearest enemy and I usually aim in the direction with the stick as well.
Now it just goes everywhere for the first second, and it’s not very precise to aim it with the stick, before it actually locks on the enemy.

There’s worse things for me, but it’s a little annoying and I can totally see why it’s kind of rly bad for builds like yours, when a combo success literally relies on how you open it up.

Also i wanna add the amount of frost bolts or homing frosts i shot into the nether in the last 2 days is probably already 4 times as much as I did in the 300h of playtime before :sweat_smile:

Agree on that - and we are not alone. See Targeting system worse?

I noticed that after the patch I’m missing more attacks, not automatic targeting nearby enemies and not switching smoothly between enemies after one is killed. It’s like I have to push the right analog in the direction of an enemy before attacking otherwise it will miss the first hit.

Not swiping mid swing, I usually open up with a running or Hammer throw rune attack, which used to autolock as soon as I started the attack, now it just misses most of the time cause the running attack ends up speeding up a bit so I run pass the enemy and the throw is pretty distant so even a slight angle more or less is a miss aswel, pretty annoying
