Hi, I find the effect of the Thorn Rune to be very small. Does anyone know how to use it effectively?
l feel like there is a cap on reflect damage. So maybe when you use it, you’re too near the cap? If you aren’t already, try using it without any other Damage when Damage Taken affixes from gear on, see how much it does.
Thank you, in my testing, I activated Thorn with no other reflected damage enchantments and took damage from the enemy, but the reflected damage was only 6.
Also, even when I combined it with other reflected damage enchantments, the damage only increased by 6 to 8.
Am I using it wrong?
Yea I just tested it out, and compared to a 15% Enchant, Thorns was only giving returns similar to 1.5-1.8% equivalent.
So it may be bugged or broken at the moment; it’s not just you.
So it’s not working properly after all, I’ll wait for a fix in the future.

Is it based on your max health?
Is it based on how much damage the enemy do to you?
Test with and without full gear and Rings that deal DMG on DMG taken?
Does armor or DMG reduction affect the DMG dealt?
In my testing, I was unable to compare when adjusting the character’s maximum HP.
I compared the results with several types of enemies, with thistle rings and armor with damage reflection enchantments, and with plate armor and no armor equipped, but I was unable to find any significant differences.
Do you remember if it worked better before breach?
Then its probably bugged like you said.
I started playing from Breach, so I don’t know about what happened before that, but it seems the situation hasn’t changed even after this patch.
