I believe the class system could use the same attributes that already exist but you can only level up the stats that make sense for your character build. So you cannot sink strength levels in a mage build by accident. The classes could also get specific permabuffs at certain level milestones, but if you understand the level system, theres an option like “wretch” you can choose that lets you choose whatever attribute you want to allow more experienced players try something that may not make sense to newcomers. Obviously wretch wouldnt get the permabuffs but they get to experiment. I believe this could solve how to help new gamers level correctly while allowing experienced players the freedom they want. I havent played final fantasy tactics so i have no idea what that would be like. Love the game!
