Maybe I’m an idiot, but I used a Sublime Ember instead of a Radiant Ember and bricked an item I’d previously invested in. The embers look really similar visually. It’s not the first time this has happened, but this time it really hurts…

I agree that there needs to be a change to their appearance. At the moment they do look similar and I’ve also confused the two.
I recommend slightly changing the color and making the Sublime Ember more grandiose. Make it pop more since it’s the final one you’ll be using.
Honestly, I don’t even understand why they were introduced.
If it was removed from the game no one would notice, it doesn’t solve any problems, if Sublimation was too difficult I would just decrease the cost of sublimation. It takes up space in the inventory.

Worst part is that the description is so vague that you don’t know it’s an exalting substitute until you try using it.
I thought it was gonna be some rare ember that is better than radiant by instantly maximizing an affix, but nope, just exalted.
That does suck. If the item has a special facet you wanted, you can disenchant it with a void ember to start over without having to lose the item or find a new one.
