So after the Lost Huntress fight, there’s a treestump in an area just after, which you can fall into the water from, making the whisper inaccessible (even if you teleport back, the hunters camp respawns, blocking access to that area and the whisper).
Side note, I teleported back after the following npc cutscene that finished the weeping sisters quest, but before I talked to the npcs (and I missed anything in that aforementioned whisper area) – on return to that area, the NPCs had disappeared. I’m hoping that has no impact on my game outside of missing a few lines of dialogue
I’m in the exact same situation (died of cliff slip right after the cutscene). It feels like the hunter’s camp shouldn’t even be there anymore, it’s very weird how it spawned back and everyone is pretending like nothing’s happened (also cause a dialogue from the governor explicitly says the hunters will be safe in Sacra). Maybe that’s the real bug?
In any case, does anyone know how can I cheat my way up to get that whisper? It’s very annoying to have a completely inaccessible area because I took a leap of faith.
Actually, it seems for some reason that part has reverted for me (and 2 bears had spawned), meaning I was able to access the whisper after all.
I’m not exactly sure what triggered it? I had moved onto the marrin woods area, and I saw my first bear there, so maybe that’s what triggered the change? I went back just after exploring Marrin village, but I had only explored it – I hadn’t completed the area-related quest
