When opening a refinement menu, the first item in the inventory doesn't display a description

When any refinement menu is opened, for example from the furnace at Fillmore’s, the first item in the player’s inventory is automatically highlighted but does not display a description. If the player moves the cursor to any other item and then back to the first item, the description displays as expected.
