It seems like some kind of forecast… what the actual damage COULD be - but what condition has to be fulfilled? I compared the number using different DEX values… and it absolutely makes no sense to me! Maybe it’s not a forecast… maybe ist’s some kind of base-value - but why is it changing then? Any ideas?
As you can see, this particular weapon scales with Dex (it is written right under the red number).
That’s why the damage number keeps growing as you up the Dex stat (it would not change if you would up the strenght stat for exemple).
Damage is red as long as the full Dex requirement is not met. Here I guess the Dex requirement was 42.
Now the damage number is white. But I agree with you, the forecast number should be 155 on every single picture because at 10 Dex the game should tell you : You are dealing 48 damage for now because your Dex lvl is too low, however if you up your Dex to the sheet requirement the damage will turn into 155.
That’s the point. 155 (in this case) would make sense. But right now it’s just seems to be some bogus number… a fictional value, you will never reach, no matter what you do.
