I’ve never seen this in any kind of game, but I’d be nice if runics do not consume focus outside of combat or only when in Sacrament, except runics that give buffs, as well as Return & Blink runic.
Or at least a training ground (which apparently already exists?) in where focus is never consumed.
So you can kind of get a feeling of the runics you’re trying out.

I dont like it, just my opinion but the whole suspension of the rules in one area feels wrong, its a price you pay for testing it out, use a focus potion and boon you have the focus to test it.
If they did this would the dummies in the training areas be used to gain focus? Would every player then walk to the training area to fill their focus bar before going out of Sacrament?

100% wouldn’t mind a Training Grounds.
The main take here is that early game would be much easier as you could spam around the map early on. As you get better gear your want to do this will fall short to wanting to kill and clear the maps for resources rather than to get back to where you were after you died again lol.
I think I see both sides to having this or not.
The funny part is that my builds aren’t far from allowing me to do this already. By the time I use all my Focus out of Sacrament you are near an enemy for a quick replenish. I FLY through the maps now with Blink, Focus Gain Ring and about 300 Focus with some Focus Regen (best when in Sacrament and shopping or going from house to house).
I’d say giving us just 5-10 more levels of progression could see me doing this very thing.
Honestly I don’t see a real issue here beyond the need for Blink, Agility and Willow Cap Rings to get attention here as they would all relate to one another in this case heavily as they all involve movement speeds. I dont want less speed that’s for sure but having more enemies closer together could alleviate some of this power when going through newly spawned areas. After you clear the area then blinking through it seems fine to me
