Weird rendering of far out landscape in Lowland Meadows

Hi, I’ve been playing this game for a few days and taking some screenshots every now and then because of the gorgeous landscapes and art. However, when reviewing them, this one stood out to me because of this weird rendering I notice in the far out places in the background. Basically you can see those getting rendered in very low contrast. And I think this particular screenshot made me notice this because there is this weird contrast between two different sections of the background. The left side has much lower contrast than the middle part of the background. I’m no expert in graphics so I don’t know the exact cause for this kind of issue but I would really love if someone takes a look at this and fixes it because the game is really nice to look at. I’m playing on the highest graphics settings.

Hey Saeussimus, maybe I’m blind but could you circle/point an arrow with huge paint lines so I can find all the spots you mean? :see_no_evil_monkey:

Not all of these have been fixed yet it seems, thanks for the report!

Hey! Sure, I delimited regions A, B and C. I’ll explain: A is the region I meant in my earlier post that is to the left of the screen, far out in the distance in the world. B is the region that is in the middle, kind of far in the world too, I think, but maybe less far than A? Not sure about that. I also marked C in this screenshot because I think I see the same grayish filter happening there but it’s at an acceptable level. Maybe this is something designed to keep vivid colors in the important foreground objects? But it looks like it’s being applied too much to things very far from the camera in my opinion.

To give you some context, my impression when I saw this screenshot among the others was that I was looking at some badly rendered Nintendo 64 scene without textures but when looking closely, the objects in A do seem to have colors and textures so I don’t think that’s what’s happening here either.
