Not sure how well known this is, but for me, I always either rolled or got up before attacking when knocked down. You can attack and use rune attacks while on the ground and your character will quickly get up to do them.

Not fully sure how it works myself, but some weapons can also do their rolling attack from a knockdown state, which can be interesting if it’s otherwise inaccessible in quickstep weight.

I’m not sure your character can get rested bonuses with all the energy drinks they’re downing for that focus pool.
