True darkness during the night and in pestilence zones

I have noticed that while the game is trying to portray the island of Sacra as something scary due to the plague there is something that spoils the whole atmosphere of horror. That is that even during the dead of night there is no lack of light and you can actually see very clearly as if it was daytime. Seeing how Caylen has become as if a gate to hell has opened at its center I would recommend this:

  1. That ambient lighting during night hours is provided by the moon, by torches mounted on walls or carried by the player or by means of runes and enchanted weapons. I do not mean that devs should plunge the world into darkness but our visibility should be impaired by a significant amount while its dark.
  2. It would fit with the lore if enemies lurking in the dark like the glowing guys from caves or these pigeon/bat/human hybrids flooded the world during the night and also got a power boost.
  3. Many people complain about the hue in pestilence areas. I say that devs should make these areas darker instead, as if the sun has been blocked out the same way as it happens in Caylen.
