A Tool for Theorycrafting in No Rest for The Wicked
The project started as a simple experiment with AI to create a dataset! to a complete web aplication for easy viewing of enchantments, filters and tags for reference while playing.
Of course, the site is still in its early stages. Even though I’ve spent several weeks tweaking its interface, but i’m very happy with the shape what is getting form.
I hope this helps the community.
I still have a lot to do. But for anyone interested in adding content to the project or helping out, feel free to do so; the GitHub page is open.
It’s worth mentioning that I’m not a programmer. All you see is trial and error, using the cursor, and writing a ton of context in Google’s AiStudio.
—————— Special Thanks to Members of the Community ——————
Hey, I’d like to thank the community members who helped me create this website with their content. @Daorven, where I saw the first [List Sheet], and Warlan (On Discord) with the huge job on listing the infos from the game, and @Boarcas and Amosoful with the past contribuitions.
Here is the links we can found:
Like Boarcas said, this is the most updated list Today
* • Visual changes to the interface to match the game's aesthetic
* • Changelog to updated versions.
* • Other information about other items and equipment and their characteristics.
* • More game tips and important information that isn't so obvious in the game.
* • Build Simulator to save and share with the community via a link generated through the 'app/site/tool'.
* • Visual interface for the Build Simulator.
* • In-game iconography in the text and reference objects of the 'app/site/tool'
Note:
Have patience with me. Time in Adult life can be brutal sometimes.
Amazing, thanks for this tool, really useful. It would be nice if you can “build up” your enchantments: i.e pick shield and then select the enchantments you want to see how the item would after all enchantments with their respective plagued condition (if purple).
I’m glad to see that you’re finding it useful and enjoying it.
I plan to tweak the tool a lot. In the future, I’ll implement your suggestion in the “build simulator.”
I want to make this base a very complete tool.
If you find any bugs or have suggestions, please leave them here. If possible, I’ll implement them.
I had asked Thomas if there was any way I could get a Fankit service with the game’s icon assets.
But I got it here through AssetRipper. And then I watched their latest live stream on the “Action RPG” YouTube channel. This way, I was able to stay more informed about the future of the game, to better plan the core structure of this “Build Simulator.”
Some ideas for your guide:
-Put your stats and then your full armor set + weapon + shield. Then you could know how much damage are you dealing and/or blocking.
-Share your builds.
-Know your final fire-electric-plague-cold resistance and/or buff.
-Know your final armor stats, physical resistance, damage reduction, etc.
-Same with other stats, like if you are using a shield with (inflict damage when blocking) and you combine with rings and so on, you end up knowing how much of total damage are you dealing.
-Same with focus gain, parry, build ups and so on.
Has anyone found enchantments that are missing from the list after the “Update Refined”? If you see missing enchantments, if you can share them with me, I would be grateful.
Oh, thanks. Now it’ll be easy to update the website. This helps a lot.
I can’t find a way to extract the information directly from the game, on the game files.
I’ll update the website list on Monday.
Very well done. This spreadsheet helped me tremendously when I was creating the base for this web application. However, I couldn’t find the Reddit post where I saw it so I could give proper credit. I’m not a native English speaker, so I’m a bit shy, and I apologize for sounding so formal and sometimes curt in my responses. (Worse, I actually speak formally, hehe ;p)
I’m happy to see that you’re still working on updating the spreadsheet. If we all help a little, we can launch this application much faster. I’m still racking my brains over how to include the rest of the information, like gems, rings, and other things.
When it comes to web applications, any misplaced detail can break the entire interface.
This is literally my dream game, and we’re going to make it work.
Warlan (discord user) has taken initiative for making an maintained and updated sheet with all information. He made copies of every available listing that was known, and put it all together. All credits should go to Warlan for doing that.
There is also Amasoful who has done a tremendous job at making tables, but he himself also said on Reddit he had no time to update his listings. His last activity was 3 months ago from what I’ve gathered.
I love your enthousiasm though! Let’s make this work!
True. Will put the right and proper credits in the tool. I’m very grateful and happy about the community present here in this game. Make a lot of time i’m not in a forum of a game.
I am kinda of a digital ghost. English not being my primary language help a bit.
Actualy, i been trying to improve the design to ressonate more intuitively with the art of the game and move foward. But, this task become my nemesis. Nothing with i do i like.
So, if any one has skills in web coding, feel free to send me a message on Discord if want to help. @thezenba (Discord) @thezenba (Steam)
