did you by any chance rebind your keyboard inputs? i can’t find the topic right now, but i remember someone having this issue by rebinding the sprint/jump key.
so it could be a rebinding issue. Just a guess.
Yes, I’m using a Switch Pro controller, and I did rebind the keys. I changed the jump/sprint key to B and the interaction key to A.
i think there is a conflict, since cancel or “let go” is on b as well, so the game never knows if u want to climb fast or let go. maybe you can try to remap it to other buttons, if the issue then still occurs?
