The moveset of staves

Hello! I’m a big fan of the game who is having a hard time not playing after having a lot of fun in the early days of early access and now is waiting for the classes update.
Regarding that subject, the other day I saw on the wicked reddit a gif with some movesets related to different weapons/classes and the staff one (basically the Endless Winter staff moveset) made me realize that, although my favourite weapon in terms of visuals, the moveset of it and, in general, of all the staves seemed to me a bit different of what I would truly love and envision related to a “sorcerer class”.
This is obviously a subjetive opinion and I’m not sure if any other mage enjoyer will agree with me, but I would really love if the moveset of staves would become a bit more… “mage-like”. Let me take Endless Winter as the most obvious example: when I think about a sorcerer (even if he is a Cerim and, therefore, I can assume he is not going to be super weak physically even if he just uses magic), I don’t see a person jumping in the air, doing a backflip while shooting magic and then landing in a superhero-like pose. That moveset would look amazing (and looks amazing already in some of them) in a wand that (again in my opinion) is really cool that in this game look kinda like swords (some of them), because an agile yet magic moveset like that would really suit the “spellblade class” fantasy. Agility, finesse and, at the same time, some simple magic like shooting ice darts, fits perfectly for a spellsword, I think.
For a pure sorcerer, however, I would really love that, even if you keep some non-magical moves from the moveset (the initial swipe, a poke or something like that) you would also use more magic with it (for example, right after the swipe, something like 0,5 seconds after the swing is done, you conjure a very small breeze that escapes the staff, following its trajectory but giving the attack a bit more range and area of effect.; or, for the poke, doing the next attack with no delay could turn the tip of the staff into an ice spike, increasing the range and doing damage) and, if you want to add mobility to the moves, they could be more magic-themed without that martial arts flare they have right now (instead of jumping up in the air, the frost staff could make ice under your feet so you can slide back before having a finishing move for the combo).
So, with this example, a combo for an ice staff could be something like this: first, the AoE swipe with the quickly following mist, the slide back on the ice, and then the finishing move being, for example, grinding the tip of the staff against the floor (that action looks so cool in my opinion  ) and swiping with it forward, creating something like a small cascade of ice spikes towards the enemy. That finishing move should be not that big so that it isn’t op not being a rune spell, and of course don’t do that much damage compared to rune magic, but the visual of it, the fantasy of using the staves as a magic-focused weapon instead of a stick most of the time (or, in the case of the Endless Winter, like a quarterstaff used by a crazy martial arts master) it would be much cooler.
I don’t know if anyone will read this or comment, but if anyone does, please do share your opinions. I have thought of other more magic-oriented movesets for the other types of staves, but I will just use this example for now  I have no idea how this will be recieved.
Anyways, if you managed to read all of this, thank you for your time, and have a fantastic day :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
